ARML team achieves top ranking in its division at the Las Vegas site.
Under the guidance of head coach Spyridon Michalakis and assistant coaches Sonny Mohammadzadeh, Rohit Thomas, and David Sivakoff, the Northern California ARML team returned from the 31st American Regions Math League with the Western Site Division B award.
We invite students (grades 8-12) to join us this coming February for practices leading to next year's ARML competition. For more information visit the Northern California ARML website.
MME team achieves Outstanding in the COMAP MCM competition.
Math modeling coaches Sarah Williams and Brandy Wiegers ask you to join us in congratulating our undergraduate teams from the UC Davis Math Modeling Experience, who competed in the prestigious 2006 Mathematical Contest in Modeling.
Our team of Bryan Bell, Yaroslav Gelfand, and Simpson Wong submitted a solution designated by competition judges as OUTSTANDING, the top ranking.

Our team of Luis de la Torre, Mary Lash, and Nicholai Linesch received the rank of MERITORIOUS, which is the second-highest ranking.
